Company History:
Henrietta Fire Co.#1 was formed in 1907 as a volunteer fire
company and has remained volunteer ever since. In 2007
we celebrated our 100th anniversary and for the last 105
years we've been providing fire protection and emergency
services for the Town of Henrietta.
Equipment and Personal:
Our Station is one of six that make up the Henrietta Fire
District. We are a combination department (paid and
volunteer)Company 1 is 100 percent volunteer we have
one pumper and one rescue that is assigned to the
station. We have a battalion chief one captain and one
lieutenant who are also assigned to the station as well as
about 40 active firefighters some of which are also
certified EMT's

Other Activities:
We also have a drill team that competes weekly during the
summer months against other area departments and we
participate in our yearly state championship against about
60 teams from all over New York State. We have one fund
raiser planned for this year our annual ham party in the
spring its fun for the whole family both firefighters and the
community alike
